This page explains what cookies are, which ones we use and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a site. Similar technologies include pixels, local storage and tags. We use the word “cookies” to cover all of these.
Cookies We Use
We aim to keep cookie use to a minimum. We group ours into three categories.
Strictly necessary. Needed to run the site, remember your cookie choices and keep things secure. These do not require consent.
Analytics. Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We use privacy-respecting analytics and only set these cookies if you accept them.
Embedded content. Some pages include video, maps or social feeds hosted by third parties such as YouTube or Vimeo. These providers may set their own cookies when you load that content. We only load such embeds when you accept them or interact with them.
Your Choices
When you first visit the site, a banner asks whether you accept analytics and embedded content cookies. You can change your choices at any time using the button below.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. The Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk has guidance on doing this for common browsers. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.
Changes to This Policy
We will update this page if the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last reviewed.
